I love the Dormy Inn chain for all the little perks and Onsen amenities. (i.e. Laundry inside the hotel, free ice cream after onsen bathing, late night ramen, etc). The rooms are a standard size for Japan, but my husband and I are relatively normal size so we didn't feel any discomfort. I do have tattoos though, and the onsen facilities have signs that say no tattoos are allowed, but the hotel staff were very accomodating that as long as my tattoos could be covered by the bandage sticker (approx 8cm x 13cm) they carry, then I was allowed to use the onsen. I think I used the onsen every day without any issues, just follow the rules posted and was able to relax in the bath. It was a huge relief to my aching legs and feet each day. We stayed a total of 5 nights. I always recommend dormy to everyone I can, i always try to book it each time I'm in Japan, in whichever major city that has a location.

Dormy Inn was a pleasant place to stay for a few nights. A typical hotel stay if you will. Rooms are quite large, comparing to Tokyo anyway they're almost double in size. They're comfortable enough aside from the pillows being quite firm. Hotel facilities have breakfast though we didn't use so unsure what it is like. They do have sauna and bath faculties, however having tattoos we were unable to use them which is common in Japan. The staff member was super friendly at check-in though trying to suggest going late at night (after 12am, the place is open throughout the night) where might not be as busy so could get away with it. Didn't want to take the risk or have to go that late so skipped on it. Around a 5min walk to nearest metro station, was handy to get around. Loads of cafes and restaurants, convenience stores around also.

This is a very nice hotel, very clean, comfortable and quiet. The room includes so many items, for guests comfort as well as for personal hygiene (toothbrushes, combs, razors, cotton swabs, clothes for the hot spring communal bath, slippers, ...). Room rate is very reasonable for the quality of the services the hotel offers. The communal bath is excellent (with hot spring pools and one cold water pool) and has a changing room with lockers, and all little details similar to the ones we find in the room.Very close to subway station and to Osaka Castle. The area of the hotel has many restaurants and excellent pastry/bakery shops. I will stay here again if I come back to Osaka.

We arrived before the check in time, hence we kept our luggage with Concierge, when we returned to hotel at night, our luggage had been taken to our room. The hotel has very nice onsen (with free ice cream) and served free noodle at night. The hotel is clean and within 3 minutes walking distance from Exit 4 of Tanimachiyonchome Station, there are around 50 steps to get out of the Station, as we have just 2 small luggage that this did not bother us at all. Tanimachiyonchome Station is 4 stops away from Tennoji Station and its only 5-8 minutes walk from the Hotel to Osaka Castle.

Location - Situated conveniently near key attractions and public transport, making it easy to explore the area. - **Onsen**: A relaxing onsen that offers a traditional and rejuvenating Japanese hot spring experience. - **Breakfast**: A delicious and varied breakfast spread that caters to different tastes and dietary preferences, starting your day off right. - **Staff**: Friendly and attentive staff who provide excellent service and make you feel welcome. P.S. Free ice cream and ramen are great surprises
